Welcome to Thickle Farms where the beauty and sound of nature take over on this 38 acre local family farm. Thickle Farm was inspired by the profound love of animals, nature, bees, holistic remedies, education, community, and the beauty of watching two of your favorite little ones grow up on a farm, living their best lives!
Thickle Farms offers interactions with Highland Cows, Chickens, miniature Nubian goats, Valais Blacknose sheep and Babydoll sheep. Coming soon, the farm will include donkeys, miniature ponies, pigs and more! We also will offer a wide variety of classes at the farm, as well as the opportunity to host your own events or parties at our farm.
The farm was just established in 2026, so lots of new and exciting twists and turns coming ahead..Follow us and be part of the journey!

Babydoll Sheep
Babydoll Sheep, or Old English Babydoll Southdowns, are small, friendly sheep known for their charming appearance, soft wool, and easy care.
Babydoll Sheep originated in the South Downs of Sussex, England.
Babydolls are small, stocky sheep with short legs and thick bodies. Their heads are medium in size and hornless with a broad muzzle that gives a “smiling” appearance. Their wool can come in a variety of colors, including white, cream, black, dark brown, tan or spotted.
Babydoll Sheep are known for their calm, friendly, and obedient nature, making them excellent pets.

Mini Highland Cow
Mini Highland Cows are smaller, hardy versions of Scottish Highland cattle, known for their gentle temperament and distinctive long coats.
There are typically three size categories for Mini Highland cows.

Micro Mini – Mature at 36 inches or less at the hip

Miniature Highland – Mature between 36-42 inches at the hip

Midszie Mini – Mature between 42-48 inches at the hip
Despite their small stature, the retain the iconic Highland appearance, including long shaggy coats and sweeping horns.
With proper care, including adequate grazing space, a balances diet, and routine health care, the little gems can have a life span up to 20 years!
Valais Blacknose Sheep
The Valais Blacknose is a distinctive Swiss Sheep breed known for their striking black facial markings, spiraled horns, and friendly temperament.
The Valais Blacknose sheep originates from the Valais region of Switzerland.
The Valais is a large framed and robust with long, coarse, curly white fleece with distinctive black markings on the nose, eyes, ears, knees, hocks, and sometimes the tail. Both rams and ewes are horned, typically with helical or spiral shaped horns.
Valais are known for their friendly, calm and inquisitive nature. The breed is dual-purpose in theory, producing both meat and wool.
